I did find the web site where i got tons of information on my S-10, if you have all the numbers that are on the sticker in your glove box door, you can find out everything about your S 10

S10Forum.com

i am not a big fan of the site as a whole but it did provide me with information that was helpful to me.

most useful link if you still have the RPO tag in your glovebox. Extremely comprehensive list.

I guess I got one of the odd ones or rare ones, because it is a 2.2, 5sp, w/411's. It barks the tires real well too.

I just traded my '00 Sonoma, extended cab with a 2.2, 5 speed, and 4.10 rear. I think it was common for extended cab trucks, whether auto or manual. Not gonna swear to it, but two other guys in this area with similar trucks also had the same powertrain setup.

Got 21-23 in town and topped out at 29mpg on the highway. Kinda miss that... ah, well.
