S10 runs on 100% hydrogen

my friend george has been working on this since 2000, its not fast but it idles and puts down the road. It uses a 6 cell series direct port injection, one for each cylinder.

But for how long before the battery goes dead? as I assume he is making hydrogen from electricity and the engine can not produce enough to support it's self, so at some point the battery goes dead, I would guess 10-15 minutes at idle.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't hear idling, I don't see putting down the road, I just see a cloud of vapor. Doesn't seem very convincing for 10 years of labor.

You know what's cool? The alternator doesn't appear to be spinning at all... which, of course, signifies that the engine isn't running. Which, of course, makes this thread a lie. Which, by default, makes it fail.

More details and the truth, or /thread.

Was that 10 years or 10 minutes of "labor"?

Or, was that after 10 years or 10 beers?
