For Sale: 2 HX rims

I have two Civic HX rims available. $70 for the pair. These are 14" rims.

PM me if interested.

The Good:
Two straight rims, with center caps, recently painted silver and clear coated. Paint is Wheel Paint by Rustoleum, "Steel" color which is a silver metal flake color.

The Bad:
One rim is buggered up around the outside of one lug nut recess. Lug nut will seat properly, it just doesn't look so pretty there.

I hope to shoot some pics but the above should give you a pretty good idea.

I live and work in CT. If you're within driving range of Hartford, Springfield or Providence, we could find a way to meet. And, I'm planning to be at the Green Grand Prix in NY on Apr. 15 (near Ithaca).

Is it the metal or just the paint messed up. I have seen some horror story wheels where people tried to get wheel locks off and butchered rims in the process. Pics please.

The alloy is messed up at that lug hole. Apparently they're made with a steel insert (I presume it's steel for strength) in the lug hole; the steel is fine - you can see it and it's not marred. But to look pretty, the wheel would need some significant building back up with Bondo or whatever people use to restore marred wheels.

PM me please - I don't look in this forum often.

Negotiating/bargaining is also usual.

They're freshly painted silver and clearcoated. However as I mentioned, one has a pretty good dig at one of the stud holes.

Your location in UK seems a bit far. I'll probably end up selling them to someone a bit closer, is my guess.
