Scangauge II on V10 Motorhome

I bought a used 29 ft motorhome earlier in the year. It is a class C ford. Using the SG raised my mpg from 10 to 12. Of course I slowed to 55 and took off from a stop different. I try to quickly get upto speed, then stay of the gas most of the time. 14,000 lbs gives you plenty of momentum.

I'd like to try a Dryden boattail.

Comments are welcome.

John

...years ago, I drove a Condor motorhome (Ford V8-engine) from Yuma, AZ, to Fayetteville, NC, and back. It had a 300-gallon (!) gas capacity (dual saddle tanks) and an Onan generator in the back. Got 9 MPG at 55 mph. So, you're doing pretty good already.
