Picked up a
ScanGauge II the other day. After getting it all setup I noticed some odd readings coming from it. The TPS readout at idle spikes to 16 for a half second every now and then. Idle on my Jeep Cherokee has always been just a little ruff. Is it just an error in the readout? or is that whats affecting my idle? I replaced the TPS about a year ago so what else would cause the spike?
I found out the jeep has fuel cutoff for coasting. But it will only do it for a split second, guessing whatever is causing this is preventing it from doing it for an extended period of time.
