Scangauge xgauges wanted

I'd like to add two xgauges that are updated in real time.

1. Miles per trip
2. Cost per trip

I'm stuck on the first, but will this work for cost per trip?

TXD: 80
RXF: 800000000000
NAM: CCT (Cost of Current Trip)

...glad you posted your question, because I, too, am interested in some 'other' information displays.

...but, first (as I vaguely understand it) you have to know what kind of "communication" protocal your vehicle uses...and, I'm not sure if my Pontiac Vibe is GM or Toyota!?!?

Okay, the manual had the answer once I used read a few examples. Look at page 28 in the manual with data on displaying trip data as xgauges. Here's how I added xgauges for miles per trip, fuel per trip, and cost per trip:

1. Starting HOME, enter MORE>MORE>MORE>XGAUGE
2. Pick an ID (0 to 23) and select EDIT
3. On the TXD screen, enter one of these three values to pick which trip value to use: 1 for fuel used, 3 for distance, and 8 for cost
4. For the next digit, enter 0 for the current trip's data
5. Press OK, then for the RXF screen enter 8 for the first digit
6. Press OK, until you reach the name screen. At that point, enter letters for the xgauge name such as FPT for Fuel Per Trip.
7. Select SAVE.

This gauge is now available for display just as the others.
