Seems Canada is going to get a diesel from Honda

From EVW.

If canada gets the new i-dtec engine that's been announced for europe, does that mean it will be possible to import down into the US?

I read the same: the Acura diesel will be in both countries.

However I did read that we're getting a smaller jdm/euro engine for the Madza 3 that won't be available in the US. I'll post up the article if I can find it again.

Oops - sorry Paul - not a diesel in the Mazda. Just a smaller gasser. I can't find the link; read it this week in the Ottawa Citizen, I think.
