'Cause if you only have one seat, you can remove a lot of body weight and frontal area, which means the car goes faster on the same engine.

Ok, so minimum top speed? (35MPH is the lowest speed limit on open roads around me, 25 in town... as a suggestion)

highway speeds have a minimum of 45mph (72kph)

Ok, so we're looking at cars that have at least 3 wheels, don't need a special license to operate anywhere (some states don't have MC licensing), is road legal, is a production car that is currently in production, and is in range or cheaper than a "regular" car.

It also has to be a single person car with usable cargo space.

So far, we have no engine requirements, but it must be able to sustain 45MPH under normal conditions.

Now, we're getting somewhere with specifics. Should probably amend the rules to reflect this.
