Slow news day - Wave Disk Generator

DailyTech - New Disc Gas Engine Looks to Challenge Traditional Diesel, Gas ICEs

Looks like an evolution of a first-stage turbo-compressor turbine engine. Could be used inline to the transmission drive or generator @ highest efficiency operation mode. Minimal vibrations, multi-fuel and very compact package.

no working prototype, not sure what is special about it at this point, been discussed, even as possible unicorn (glorified turbine).

Nice to see thinking outsdie of the box works from time to time. If its so small is it too small for North American Automobiles or world wide. I know of a few small cars in Europe that it might work on as a trial option.

yes, think outside the box certainly, but it isn't news unless it actually works.

The size of the engine has not a single bearing on what it can be used on. I've seen video of a Ford Escort being driven by a Subaru Robin engine, possibly 10hp?

The usable power output is a better factor to determine viable use... Otherwise, the reactors in Nuclear subs would simply be "too small".
