Smaller bootloader ready. I can has 328!?!!

Found this on the Spiffie site. rmccomiskie found it before me but I wanted to put it up here where everyone can see it.

http://spiffie.org/know/arduino_1k_bootloader/

Does this mean us early adopters can have the bigger chip and keep up with the upgrades?

Can the arduino IDE be hacked to allow 15k sketch sizes? What upgrades are out there, that the 168's are lacking? skelly mentioned several of his own, but i could only find the code for his big fonts & DTE.

The 168 just barely has room for .75 and if you try to reflash with a mac you get a sketch too big message. That's why I'm upgrading. I also think my chip may be fried bc I have freezing/corrupting issues.
