SoCal Event: "Gas Hole" the Movie screening in a beer garden!

Hey there, I know this kind of breaks down the walls of keeping my personal life and my online persona separate, but I wanted to give you guys the heads up on a special event we're doing at my work, the Stone Brewing Co. I head up planning out our Stone Late Night Movies, and we've got a special night coming up that might be of interest to many of you like minded MPGeeks...

On Wednesday, June 17th @ 8pm we're having a screening of the new documentary "Gas Hole" with a Q and A with the show creators. Normally we don't charge for a movie, but this time we're charging $5 a ticket - and 100% of that will go to the San Diego Environmental Foundation. You can find out all about our late night movies and getting tickets here...
http://www.stonebrew.com/movies

The Gas Hole documentary here...
http://www.gasholemovie.com/

...and the San Diego Environmental Foundation here...

Hope you can make it!

Did I know you worked at a brewery? Why do you have to be so far away?

Sounds like a cool event. Sorry I won't be attending.

(Send me a consolation prize?)

I don't think I said anything about working at a brewery before. It doesn't have too much to do with my car.

Is there a way to sort through members here by area? I wanted to give San Diego and LA members the heads up.

What's the possibility that it will sell out?
I am interested in going, but have no idea what I'll be doing in June.

Have you checked the Frappr map? Unfortunately most people don't add their location to their account when signing up.

Selling out? I hope so for the charity's sake. It's hard to say. I know there's been dates of it selling out on the tour, even for showings on consecutive nights. We started ticket sales yesterday, so it's hard to gauge right now.

Thanks for the frappr suggestions. Looks like the closest person is already here (thebrad). I tried searching for "roflwasffle", but there's no trace of him on the forums. Did he change his name?

Any possibility you could let me know when it's close to selling out?

As for Roflwaffle, here's his Ecomodder profile.

I really want to do a screening of this movie at Hybridfest!
If anyone has a good contact that I could talk to please send me the info, or else feel free to pass my contact info to them! (see the Hybridfest website for our email, address, and phone.)

edit: Dang! Looks like their calendar already has them booked that weekend. Oh well. I wrote them a nice email of support.

250 miles RT isn't too bad, but I can't go around enjoying myself with so much work to put off... Er, do, too.
