Hi there Ankit do you have a Hybrid.

So far there seems to be alot of interest from Hybrid and non Hybrid owners that want products. I still could use some web help. Building websites and doing all this SEO stuff and trying to produce products is wearing me thin.

I kinda like the school bus doors grille idea that way you could just scoop the kids up off the side of the road.

I am starting work on a prototype this weekend a Prius owner is driving up here this weekend from NC.

They make flexible actuator cables (similar to the brake cable setup on a bicycle) that you could snake from the cabin to wherever the louvers are located.

I hope you guys are making good progress (assuming the guy from NC arrived safely). Let me know if you need someone over there next weekend.

Dan and I did good last weekend 02/23/08 we were able to get a prototype mold made for the front bumper. The part covers the lower bumper intake and it is flush with the bumper. I am in the process now of tuning the mold some and will have some parts out very soon. To speed up the time to get the product on the market I am thinking of releasing the product with no holes or vents.

I still not have not found a supplier of rubber or plastic caps to fill holes.

(1)Maybe someone here can help me name the product.
(2)Maybe someone knows a manufacturer of rubber or plastic plugs for around
1 1/2" to 2" holes and will be flush with the part surface.

Thanks Franklin

I had a great time last Saturday and learned a lot about bondo, fiberglass and the mold making process. That alone was worth the trip. I can't wait for mine to arrive! I will post pictures of the finished product installed on my car.

On the same subject, I would like to hear everyone's opinion on what color to paint it. Currently the grille is black plastic. I just received a can of factory color matched spraypaint, color 1C0, Millenium Silver. I can paint it to match the car or paint it flat black. What do you think?

Frank,
Why don't you share some of the different products that we discussed last Saturday? You could get some feedback on what might be most popular. For me, it would be those flat round things. I can't wait for those either.

If you want to keep the OEM look, go flat black, I'd say.
