"Start New Thread" icon at bottom of each post???

It not unusual to see a FIRST POST from a Newbie that goes something like -

I suggest adding a "Post a New Thread" icon at the bottom left corner of each post. Clicking the Icon would take you to more or less the usual "Post New Thread" page except a Select Forum drop-down box would appear above the Title: input box.

Is it just my imagination, or have the number of threadjackings been way up lately?

I'll have a look at vBulletin to see if there's anything like this available.

Quick fix implemented:

I made the assumption that more often than not the thread jacking will be within the same forum subject matter, so the simple fix was to add a "NEW THREAD" button beside the "POST REPLY" buttons at the top & bottom left of each thread page.

Don't know about way up, but seems like a few more of them lately.
I wonder how many start out as Quick Reply?

could you swap the buttons around, or change the color of one of them? it's two easy to click the wrong one as I have already done once.
