Step by step MPGinuo instructions?

Has anyone ever written step-by-step assembly/ coding instructions for the MPGinuo? I'm about to buy a SGII, but I like building things, so I might try the 'Gunio first (and my car is pretty much worthless, so i don't mind hacking into the electrics). Also, I have to pull the cluster because the backlights are burned out, and I want to install a switch so I could do the analogue gauge mod on the 'gunio and switch between feeding the tach (all gauges are electric) RPM and MPG data.

What else is there besides making all the connections in the schematic, uploading the software, and tapping the leads in your vehicle? Order doesn't necessarily matter for the connections in the schematic(s). However, depending on how you design it, it may be easier to do one thing first than another. However, that's still design-dependent.
