Last couple of tanks were 34.8 and 35.2 mpg.
This tank is going even better (seemingly) than my highest of 36.2, got 35 more miles on the first half tank but I swear this stuff is hard work and can honestly see why the mindless general public don't even try.

You're doing great! Ten cents/mile adds up fast with the kind of miles you drive in a month. It's like someone handing you a $20 bill a couple of times a week. I had a 38 mpg average over 20,000 miles with my Nissan Sentra SE-R and its thirsty 2.5 liter engine. It has to be tougher doing it, as you do, on unfamiliar roads and routes on a daily basis.

Got 38.1 mpg on this last tank! Was hoping to better the 36.2 which was my previous high and after much hard work I did it. Don't know if I can better that until summer comes....

That tank, like all the others, was calculated by odometer and gps so I have a running tally of what says what. Both show numbers going the right direction (up) but the gps trip computer varies in the % difference compared to the odometer. Even with that discrepancy and using the odometer I still got 36.8 on that tank, which is better than any tank done with purely highway miles. Filled up today and this tank was 34.6....

I've been hearing good things about that new Sonota on the go hypermiling podcast. Glad to hear their positive things are applicable to the real world. The "other H car" has come a long way in the last 20 years and they now seem to be one of the best values on the market.

Why haven't you started a garage? It's a great way to track your results and show off a little.
