If someone can sue for spilling hot coffee on themselves, I can see some slick lawyer saying that our Coroplast boat tail extensions create a safety hazard, especially if there is a homemade metal frame structure underneath.
Mr. Paranoia here with a question :
Let's say I put an 'ecomodder.com' sticker on my car and get into an accident, or contribute to an accident ( " But officer, he was driving so slowy that I coudn't possibly avoid hitting him. " )
We exchange information, take a few pictures of our cars for the insurance, and go about our way.
A couple of weeks later, I get a letter from a lawer that has noticed the sticker on my car and visited the site.
Because the car has been 'modified' I get sued. Big time.
How likely is this ??

Not likely, considering all the only partially legal mini-trucks and modified cars on the road that even after being impounded, are never prosecuted.
I'd like to think that people might open their eyes at some point... instead, I find it more and more likely that I'll just close mine. -- Author kept secret.
