My answer above is edited: ads are permanently removed for red/blue star supporters from a single contribution.

That's up to you. There's no obligation to support the site in the first place - it's completely voluntary. After your first time, the ads will stay off your account forever, but you're welcome to send mad cash every year if you like. We won't argue with that.

Just wrote my yearly check to PBS. Thought about the same for EcoModder.
However I was dispointed in this thread. No data 1.5 years.
Question(s):
What is the yearly site expenses? I.E. $100 month web hosting, $$ year for this, $$ a year for that.
What were 2009 donations? (25 members donated an average of $50, with a high of $150, low of $25)
Is paypal account on first page still good?

I was also thinking about this a month ago. Except for the first time, it's not easy to just contribute. What's the scoop?
