Surprise- still improving!

I've had to do more hurried driving this tank. A couple actual speed runs, and several runs at a higher speed than I would prefer.

Filled up this morning, and while 45.25 mpg wasn't one of my top tier tanks it was above the 3 tank, 90 day and lifetime averages- with an average speed of 56.5 mph! I'm not celebrating the speed, but the improvement in mpg despite the handicap of higher speed. It's getting warmer out, and at 8000 miles I'm still getting settled in the car. This is awesome!

Very nice job, especially considering the Fit's ridiculously short gearing.

Short gearing only hurts if you stay in gear.
