It's so low that I've stopped hypermiling and tracking my tanks this winter. My scangauge is reporting around 30 to 35mpg for most trips though.

$1.89 is the lowest I've seen.

It is currently $1.45 ($1.42 with the discount) here in Cheyenne. I'd like it if they saty low while I am driving the jeep so that I can put the Manual Trans in the Neon to up the MPG on it though

Why stop? Just cause gas is cheaper doesnt mean you should use more. 20mpg at $2 is the same as 40mpg at $4. Not that you get 20mpg or anything but you get the point.

Meh, gas is so cheap I idle my engine over night just in case i need to drive down to the corner store for a bag of chips. Hypermiling is sooo 6 months ago.

I tried to "stop hypermiling" for a day a couple months ago. Didn't make any damn sense to be so hard on the gas and brakes. Sure, with snowy conditions, I'm not going to be executing any Death Turns or turning anything off, but...eh. There's more to it than just money.
