Thumbs up Thanks to the helpful advice from everyone in the Hypermiling community

I’m amazed at the some of the trip MPG numbers I have started seeing lately.
Thanks to the helpful advice from everyone in the Hypermiling community.

Extra thank you to Right Lane Cruiser at CleanMPG.com for the personal attention with his tips.
-His example at the MNHG meet,
-His time form work to personally call me with advice when I found myself in a Prius rental
-His extend lunch hour (without lunch) to give me a P&G clinic.

Right Lane Cruiser said he could help me break my 50mpg barrier. I
was getting High 40’s, but not many 50+ trips, and never a tank at 50+.

I have now had a tank over 50mpg and have started seeing 60~ for trips.

Information is always Key.
Here are my latest bits of info that are allowing me to put Right Lane Cruiser’s advice to work.

-I was trying to pulse at too low of an RPM. Found my engines BSFC chart at ecomodder.com
now pulsing up to 2,800. Just not enough torque under 2,000.

-My cars ECU would take too long to start reporting to Scangauge after a FAS,
so It was imposable to see P&G results at high speeds.
Adding a MPGuino info about the gauge found at ecomodder.com.
That display fixed my P&G reporting issue.
I am now running Scangauge And MPGuino.

(note: if you’re looking to buy a gauge and only 1 gauge - Scangauge is my recommendation to nearly everyone)

Good going, peterson.

As for the photos - upload them to a photo site such as photobucket.com.
When you write a post at ecomodder, click the "insert image" icon and paste the image address there. This works for most message board sites.

The address you want to paste will look like http://xxxx.photobucket.com....jpg
