I concur and second the motion, the motion carries!

The ignorance is strong in those commentators and their words. I'll just leave it at that since I don't want to get riled up about ignorant drivers in the US and their innatentive greedy driving habits....okay, SRSLY stopping now.

Bring on the Turtle!

I read through a few comments and that was all could stomach.

Sometimes the American people scare me. I guess will have to wait and see what happens when fuel hits over $4.00 a gallon again.

pgfpro -

Thanks for the article. I like that it is on a "mainstream" website like MSN (EDIT: Ok technically, it's not on MSN, MSN just links to it). I am going to save the fuel graph and article for my "drive slower" handbook.

i like 65mph very much. i drive out of town on sundays and return home on thurs night or friday. on sunday, sometimes i like being with my family for and additional 30minutes.

then if i drive 72mph, i can get to work at the same time, but 30 more minutes were with my wife and daughters. i can't drive 72mph if the speed limit is dropped to 55.

There shouldn't be any speed limit on freeways. Slower traffic keep right. End of story.

Completely agree. I personally don't see it dropping back down. I'm gonna to drive 55mph in the right lane and be happy no matter what happens with the speed limit.
