They should remake this car

I will be going to this car auction next month and noticed a Tucker for sale on the website:

Intresting description.

"The body design came from Alex Tremulis and was called the most aerodynamic in the world. Although it still sported pre-war type fenders, it was startlingly modern. Mathematically-computed drag coefficient was only 0.27, though this was 'rounded up' publicly to 0.30."

This car was way ahead of it's time for 1948. I saw this car in the San Diego car museum, very large car for such a small drag coefficient.

I bet it sells for over $500K

The Illuminati Motor Works '7' is quite similar to the Tucker Torpedo. 210+ miles on a ~33kWh battery pack, and 0-60mph in 6.2 seconds.

But of course size has nothing to do with Cd, which just depends on the shape. CdA (drag coefficient multiplied by the cross section area) measures the actual amount of drag.

The car was remade and updated with modern performance, features, and safety. It's called the Acura TSX, and it shares the same Cd.

Sadly, the bench seats were replaced by buckets, but at least it accommodates a 6-speed manual gearbox.
