Toyota's sporty hybrid, nice

The Toyota GR HV Sports concept took their sporty Toyota 86 and inserted a hybrid powertrain and an enthusiast's gearbox! The 86 platform was funkified with cool LED lamps and interesting diffusers all around. There is that H-pattern shifter knob, it is an automatic but you could use the shift knob to ghost-clutch shift gears in manual mode without the need of a clutch pedal. Intriguing, fun and in a nice package.

That matte/flat black color scheme has got to go.

Sounds interesting. But is it really automatic, or some sort of AMT similar to the one fitted to some Toyota and Hino hybrid trucks, resorting to the Power Split Device to compensate for the lack of an actual clutch?

Looks like it's trying to be a Cadillac. (I'm not complaining)
