Trans Swap

I'm really sick and tired of the inefficient automatic in my dakota. There seems to be a manual Getrag 238 that was offered OE. I want to source, and determine the cost, everything I need for the swap. I'm hoping you guys can remind me of the incidentals.

I know I'll need: trans, clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing, clutch pedal--I don't know if OE was hydraulic or mechanical, but I plan to go the same way--

I also need to find out if drive shaft and u joints are the same as in the auto.

While I'm not afraid of doing this swap (I have experience with both types of trans replacement) I've only replaced same with same. Any insight or suggestions from the voice of experience would be welcome. Thanks

need to swap steering column too unless you want two shifters in there... also, dont know about a dakota, but the gauge cluster may need to be changed and if so, the pcm too since it would not see the auto in there anymore.
