maybe something usefull here, a site called microcfd dot com ?
After some minutes searching aerodynamics free software simulation.

I agree.
This started as an epic.thread and I instantly subscribed.
The way it has turned into nothing more than net talk with no conclusion, it need not be on the home page.
For new visitors it puts forth a very bad view of the site.
