Question Trouble with ISO_Reinit(), maybe

Hi. I recently got my build of the OBDuino32K running on my '98 Subaru Legacy L, using the ISO9141 protocol.
I'm having an issue with the system after saving its data at the end of a trip.
After I shut off the engine, the LCD displays "Error" and then clears and saves data, then turns off the backlight. Nothing I do short of disconnecting the cable or pressing my reset button will cause the system to reinitialize the ecu connection when I restart the car.
Is there a good explanation anywhere on the various ISO_Reinit() options in the code. I've tried everything that I think should work, and am finding the conditional compilation options to be making everything a little unclear.
Any help or pointers to other write-ups would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Junglepig
