Unnecessary weight on board

"Don't look for one place you can lose 100 pounds, look for 1600 places you can lose an ounce."

Actually, I think I see a place where this car could shed 100 pounds, possibly a lot more.

I cannot add this photo! Blimey I stink at this internetting stuff.

Every time I try to launch flickr at work my computer freezes. I'll hook up the picture when I get home. For now, imagine a Prius so stuffed with trash - literally, trash - that there's only room for the driver...and it looks like the heap is starting to make incursions.

Always good to dump the dead weight. I'm mostly out of places to shed pounds though. Last time I cleaned out the car, it lost 74lbs. Junk has added some of that back, and when I get a good tire on the spare wheel that'll put 40lbs back in. I can't really shed the seats, and there's no sound deadening to speak of anyway. Lighter wheels/meats?

Hi Elhigh - you could not add the photo because it wasn't a photo... but a webpage.
The URL (webaddress) did not end with .jpg or .bmp or whatever.

Right-click on the image on the page that you wanna copy and then choose for 'Copy image URL' or whatever it says.
(mine is in Dutch so I'm guessing)
Then you get the URL of the image itself.

Put that between IMG tags , then you get:

Eeew...!

HTH,
cheers,
Bart

Interesting tip of the day; a heavy, high grade set of 4 floor mats weighs 13lbs/5.9kg!

From weathertech.com
Our Heavy Duty All-Weather Floor Mats for example can weigh as much as 17lbs for a set of four.

But I like floormats that don't slide around, and double as sound insulation

I had a teacher whose 70-something Toyota wagon was loaded up like that all the time. She was a weird one, I remember rotting fruit and the like. She got fired for lying to parents about having lung cancer.
