Valve / Head work - Reasonable price?

I was referred to a local machine shop by a regular client of said shop. I called the shop, dropped the names I knew, and got a quote on how much it would cost to regrind my cylinder head and clean up my valves. They said $160 all together if I were to provide parts. Is this reasonable? I don't know how much these things should cost, but I guess I was expecting it to be a little lower. Any thoughts? Anyone know of a machine shop within... 200 miles of Binghamton NY where I could get it done on the cheap(er)?

Last I rebuilt a head I had them do most of the work on a 1.8L Celica head. I brought it in with the cams and buckets off, but they did the rest. That came right to $160.
