Vehicle Coefficient of Drag List

On the wiki I was going to see if I could add more info on my car but the formula "Frontal Area formula = Height * Width * .84" seems to be a bit off for the spread sheet.

The only I can get any on the cars entered to work was to use Frontal Area formula = ((Height * Width * .84)/12)/12

That just does not seem right to me I understanding dividing by 12 once to go from inches to feet but I do not see why it has to be done twice.

I just added the Frontal Area for my Grand Prix as ((54.7*72.7*.84)/12)/12=23.197ft^2

A square foot is 12*12 = 144 square inches. You need to divide by vertical inches and horizontal inches.

You have to divide by 12 to go from inches to feet for both width AND height when calculating area.
