Velcro to attach Coroplast grill block?

Living in the desert area of Phoenix, AZ, I have to remove a lot, if not all of my grill block in the summer time. I have it cut into many sections so I can remove relatively small pieces as the temps rise in the spring, and put them back on in the fall. I've used duct tape so far, but want/need something a little cleaner and easier to remove, and less noticeable. I was thinking of using some Velcro to attach it to the grill. Has anybody tried using Velcro before, and if you have, what were your results? Thanks!

Unless you sew the Velcro on...the adhesive on the back of the Velcro will let go under the heat.

Mechanical fasteners are the way to go. Clips, screws, snaps, zipties, etc...

Use small/thin zipties (cable ties) easy to put on and cheap. cut them off when you don't need the grill block
