Video: someone DIY tuft testing a Volvo

This was a random find...

Visualizing the flow of air around the hood of the car - lower speeds. Volvo, 25-35 mph.

You can see the turbulence at the leading edge of the hood. I guess there's a reason they're called bricks.

Anybody recognize the model? I'm pretty sure it's not the 240 style.

Anyway, I sent a message via YT to the poster of the video, inviting him to stop by here. I hope he does. It would be interesting to learn what he's up to, and I suspect he'd fit right in.

If I was a betting man, I'd say it's a Volvo 740. Very cool video! I might steal that idea.

My hood didn't do anything like that At least, if it was happening, it was too far down the hood for me to see from within the cab...
