Nice, I can't wait for this to come to the states (if it ever does). But man, those are TINY wheels, what are they 8" tires you think? Do they even make them that small?

The car only has a top speed of 43 mph. Its basically the equivalent of a gas NEV. Drum brakes are probably fine for that.

I dont miss the unpredicatable pull to the left or the right while braking that my 1965 Mercury 1/2 ton had one bit. FE is great but stable braking is just a tad higher on my wish list.

Well I dont have the truck anymore but part of it was the truck. 40 years of wear on a manual steering box puts a little slop in that and an brake adjustment did help a bit. But drums can be infamous for locking up at different rates due to thier self energizing nature.

My first car ('64 Catalina) had 4 drums. I found them grabby at higher speeds. Can't say whether they were in optimal condition or not.
