Volvo S60 D5 2002

This is my first post, so don't be too cruel. I got in an argument about efficient driving and now my aim is to drive whole fuel tank (17+ gallons) as long as possible. So I have newbie questions.
Are there any general tips for diesel motor owners?
My current mileage (very aggressive driving) is 30.55. Has anybody tried hypermiling with Volvo S60/D80/V70 D5? What is highest mileage for that engine?
