Yeah, I always confuse which is which of those two books. It's been a while since reading them....

Ecology and DIY would both be central themes of the book, along with thoughts on consumer culture, why we do or do not do things for ourselves, and recycling and salvage (ever notice my projects are basically made from junk?)

I'd also talk a bit about the social aspects of all of that. I never would have done half of any of this if it were for both positive support from local friends and over the web, as well as real, hands-on work by by those more experienced that I could learn from.

Actually, I have heard that publishers like to know that you have a following. If you have some giant subscriber base on blogs, YouTube, etc. it shows that you are likely to be able to sell books.
