Agreed

I have a set of wide potenza Re050's (120 tread wear (275 rear, 255 front) on the supra now, I can push it out of the car port easier than I could with the 215 Michelin Hydro edge (4xx tread wear) it was sitting on for a while.

Well, I think that LRR is a sacrifice I have to make. Buying tires every six mos probably isn't worth the gas savings for me. I drive to dang much...

You might want to check these out...

http://www.nokiantires.com/en/tire_i...?season=summer

http://www.tirefactory.net/i3.htm

When I emailed Nokian about the NRT2 they discontinued that tire and closest replacement is the i3. I was quoted close to $350 for a set in the States and close to $500 here in Canada. From the reviews I have read they seem to be a top tire and worth the extra $$$.

I am looking to do the same on my Altima, going from my current steelies to an alloy wheel with an LRR tire.
