why doesn't ebay listing display FE along with other car info?

on car auctions, why doesn't it list the fuel efficiency of the car in the automatic number plate info search thing?

this would be very useful for deciding which car to buy

maybe some of us should email ebay and suggest this?

Most people dont care, they will probably fob you off.

New cars in NZ, get stars or $$ per year to run, but no actual mpg or l/100km figures.

Give big oil a call about it, see what they have to say....

I think that people who remotely care about FE will look it up for themselves before making a purchase. I know i always look it up when looking at car ads even if the person has something posted up because i don't trust them. I just look at fueleconomy.org as a reference point.

because the riced out crx hf's that have engine swaps would show up at the top if it was automatic, if it was something you had to put the number in for people would just put in 999 to get it up there, lie with a number that could be real, or just guess based off that number they got when they were driving their grandmother to Florida.
