a cbr 250 might do 0-60 in a claimed 7.4 secs.... but thats screaming off the rev limiter.... my xjr cruuuuusing at 2500pm will pull like a train at any time

and a top speed of 88mph might be good enough for a delorian but its not quick enough to get me to work lol

i know car engines might not be under enough load in a bike/trike.... i was thinking putting a smaller turbo on one would help.. but if it helps the idea would be good mpg at actual speed... as in fast.... so there would be some load

plus to be honest i like the idea of a big ratbike with a diesel engine

Not quite sure what to say about that. I guess I would hope that someday you would be able to re adjust your personal transportation expectations.

that sounds fair lol

my personal transportation expectations are that my personal transportation needs to go at real world speeds.... a bike that does 1000mpg, at 20mph is useless....

Maybe because those types gravitate toward a tricycle?

Is 85 mph and +100 mpg good enough? A fast bicycle will go 25 mph.

dont get me wrong i normally ride and drive down the road at 60 to save on fuel.... but if im in a rush or ive just done a 15 hour shift to finish off a 90 hour week then it aint gonna happen...

i want the ability to go fast when i need to, not to do it all the time... my cars only comfortably derivable up to maybe 65 then it becomes crap... part of the reason i want shot of it

plus although 85 for example is quick enough..... i dont want to be going at the absolute max speed of anything.... it will be working its nutts off and have nothing in reserve

also.... i would LOVE to have a go on that dodge..... but even i can admit its stupid lol
