Wife likes the idea of an EV

My wife shocked me the other day when I mentioned that since most of my local trips are less than 20 miles, I wished I had an EV to run to the hardware and grocery store and such. She piped right up and said, "why don't you make one from a Lotus 23 body kit?"

(We have a composites business and make Lotus 23 (among other cars) bodywork for the vintage racing crowd.)

I she a keeper or what!?

Now I gotta start reading up on EVs...

Thanks Carlos. I have an acquaintance with a Xanthos street registered replica, so I know those cars fairly well. However, my molds are from an actual 1963 Lotus Type 23 Series II car. I figure I can bring a car in at about 600 lbs before adding power train. Cool, eh?
