Ford Escort Owners Association

I joined there in November to soak up some info for this project. I have not posted much there, but have a link to this EcoMod thread in my signature. Good Site for Escort Info. I also like http://www.escortfocus.com for various info and performance parts.

Well that was fun. Turned out similar to MetroMPG's image.

And not much different from Ultra-Aero Gloria either.

Sweet, Thanks Peakster. I am wondering what the best 'up angle' is. What you have should still be a functional height for a rear bumper.

PM me an address for your 'hose job' sticker.

AndrewJ, your sticker is in the mail today

There is nothing i could say that hasn't already been suggested. However I would like you to call her the "Frugal Lady of the Evening". Everything we are about here is economy minded and frugality lends itself directly in that direction. Escort - Lady of the Evening really needs no explanation. The shear beauty of the smoothed lines lends one to think of lovely curves that have haunted us since puberty. I love the way the photo came out and wish i had photshop talent like that. I will personally be happy to have mine running at peak efficiency again. S.

Name it "Kermit"...-hey, that would even fit on vanity plates! He has a song that goes:

"It's Not Easy Bein' Green" (lyrics by Joe Rapposo)

It's not that easy bein' green;
Having to spend each day the color of the leaves.
When I think it could be nicer being red, or yellow or gold-
or something much more colorful like that.

It's not easy bein' green.
It seems you blend in with so many other ordinary things.
And people tend to pass you over 'cause you're not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water- or stars in the sky.

But green's the color of Spring.
And green can be cool and friendly-like.
And green can be big like an ocean, or important like a mountain, or tall like a tree.

When green is all there is to be
It could make you wonder why, but why wonder why? Wonder,
I am green and it'll do fine, it's beautiful!
And I think it's what I want to be.

LOL! My suggested mod is to velcro a Kermit to the dash of your GREEN wagon.

Getting a kick out of some of these suggested mods too- obviously the suggesters haven't done them themselves, or really thought them through...

I'm open for all Mod Suggestions and Ideas, thought out or not. Sometimes someone's idea that isn't thought out can prompt a another idea from someone else. I welcome all thoughts and suggestions!
