Hey, it works! Back when I was driving to the Bay Area every couple of weeks (via Calif. 88), I could start at the summit west of Silver Lake, and if it weren't for the hill out of Jackson, would have coasted nearly to Stockton. I have pictures somewhere showing the Insight's mpg readout pegged at 150 mpg (the max reading) for about 60 miles.
