Wind tunnel videos

After looking through some flow videos, I decided to share a few here.

Here's one of a Mercedes sedan. It includes some flow around the mirror and the underside:

Using a lipstick camera or webcam hooked up to a laptop computer, and some yarn tufting, it would be easy to get video of the effects of under trays, etc. as developed on this website.

They rarely show the wheels which is the interesting area in my mind.

There is one photo of the Opel Calbra which shows for a split second the way air flows from the centre out toward the wheel at a steep angle which explains the placement of so may wheel spats.

Hi I was doing some aerodynamic research study at work and founded this amazing website:

There are huge amount of windtunnel videos, but the video called Flow Visualization: Aerodynamics of Truck vs. Nascar is so far my favorite. Now my plans are to built my own "water wind tunnel" becouse that was so wicked...
