My daughter's family was in SLC on 1/21/12, & her sister-in-law posted the same Bountiful youtube link. It is truly a remarkable statement of how inadequately prepared/skilled the average driver is.

Some of those drivers were going way too fast given the poor conditions.

Let me guess, none of those vehicles had winter tires. They can dramatically increase traction on ice and snow. But in the end, if the drivers are incapable of assessing the road conditions, winter tires won't make a difference.
