I do... but I already have a rotted out diesel Escort.

But then there's my motto: There's always room for one more!

Will the Scort's motor fit in the Ranger? I'm not sure if the block is common with the 1.6/1.9/2.3/3.0's or not.

I've been told both ways, so I dunno anymore. If it is, you can put that diesel to use, and get rid of the rotted body in the process!

It's a 2.0 Mazda- same thing they put in the Tempo and Ranger diesels of the era. I could plop it into one of the Tempos but they are all running great as they are! So I'm conflicted with my other motto "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

But if it's not a diesel, it's inherently broke...

Damn...I'd love that to drive around while I re-do my Mustang's rear end. Those diesel Chevettes are exceptionally hard to find, not many got sold.
