Galvanic corrosion also won't be much of a problem unless you live in a humid area. I believe it only occurs at a pace to be worried about when moisture is actually trapped within the contact area.

Aluminum naturally protects itself through the formation of an aluminum oxide layer, but heat from the exhaust combined with moisture from the air would probably speed corrosion.

In any case, applying a primer (zinc oxide, among others) on the mating surfaces will take care of any issues. I don't know of anyone who works with tin...
