xfi engine and trans for sale, drive it home
I installed the engine and trans out of the 89 MS code Metro I had into my rough 94. I could not get a title on the 89 that I got from a friend's wrecking yard. I completely disassembled the car and returned the body shell with the broken windshield, boy are they light with nothing in them. I had to use the 94 intake and throttle body so the 94 computer would plug in. I am planing to use the "ER" code computer and harness in my 91. The tranny oil looked good and the engine appears to be unmolested. The 94 shell has a salvage title because the lower front cross member is bent. The whole car is rough. Car has new wheel bearings all around and new rear shoes and cylinders. I drove this body for several months before I found my nice 91.
