Safety first, folks:
1) For your own safety and those of others around you, and
2) Preserving the reputation of EcoDrivers.
Not to mention warped rotors, geez.
Try this stuff off-road first!

Well said, Rick.
Also, You Know You're an EcoModder when you start sacrificing things like TV time in an effort to conserve energy, because you spent a few minutes too long reading EcoModder and EcoRenovator posts,

YKYAEM when you start wondering how much power the ScanGauge draws and how that influences your FE.

GOOD ONE!
Sometimes I have to jiggle the cable connector on my ScanGauge to get the display light to work, so that probably gets me another .001 MPG when the display light isn't working.

Mine had the same problem, when I sent it in for the X gauge upgrade they repaired the backlight also. If yours is still under warranty I'm sure they would be happy to fix it for you, they seem to be pretty good about stuff like that.

It's no longer under warranty.
I'll e-mail them about the problem. It shouldn't too expensive to repair.
