... when you can leave your car parked downtown with (a) the doors unlocked, (b) the keys in the ignition, and (c) the ignition position at "ON" while going about your business, confident that no one's going to take it.

(* ... because the car's an EV that needed the 12v battery topped up by the DC-DC converter, which happens when the key is ON. If anyone tried to take the car, they would have either (a) given up when turning to "start" did nothing, plus probably also (b) pressed the clutch, activating the emergency pack disconnect!)

Ooo! Well, at least we know she's capable of dragging a Metro around!

Heh... mine's a 4 cylinder 3 speed, but yeah, I know she can do it.

I can't use a tow bar on either one of them, because neither even APPEARS as though it could be road legal.

The only other option I have is that I'm rebuilding a horse trailer for a person, but it's not big enough to haul both of them at the same time, I think... I could have her go get them in lieu of part of the payment.

I think I'll stick with Cara. Bet I get at least 25MPG for those two trips down and back!

Darn, won't fit inside Cara... I don't think I have 62 inches in there, even without the plastics installed.

One of the Metros has been topped, so there is nothing above the door line... thought I could get that one inside Cara, so I would only have to tow the trailer once... LOL.

Man, I gotta get those helper leafs installed and the air shocks.

YKYAE when you're driving on the highway at 55 and you're passed by a Geo Metro and you wonder, "Why isn't he hypermiling?"

...then you realize that even at 65, he could be getting better mileage than you are... I had to.

While talking to one of your friends, you notice a faint outline of an "H" (veins) on her face. And your first thought is "Hobbit!" (Hobbit is a hypermiler at CleanMPG. He is most well known for his in-depth knowledge of the Prius and he signs his online documents with a "H".)
