You know your an ecomodder if..
You read through six pages to see if you are.
the first thing you do in the morning is check your posts or see if something new has been designed.
you like your 91 Metro over your wifes 07 Civic Si.
you learn how to use photoshop just to make aeromods.
you search cars in parking lots for low cd shapes.
you like the idea of your engine stalling.

When you coast up to a red light (timing it perfectly) but when it turns green the stopped person in front of you refuses to go instantly leaving you really angry.
When you get excited about caravans on the highway.

When drafting a trailer tent on the highway you see this incoming vehicle in your rear view mirror and you say out loud: "goodbye trailer tent...hellloooooo winnebago!"

When you don't like other people driving your vehicle mainly because they end up messing up your best tank ever (one on which you think you can hit your goal of 30 MPG) in a 20 mile trip.

...you're kneeling in front of your car in the driveway making a grille block when you overhear your two sons comparing the aerodynamic qualities of their matchbox cars.

You know you are ecomodder when you decide to drive the 11 mpg Bronco into town for errands so as to not ruin your current 58mpg tank in your Metro.
You know you are an ecomodder when you spend a week searching for and finally finding that window-cling printer paper to make ecomodder signs.
You know you are an ecomodder when you only get mid-grade gas because you know you will get 10% better FE than the low-grade gas.
You know you are an ecomodder when you get extremely excited by a 20mph tailwind for your 55 mile commute home.
You know you are an ecomodder when you know where every flagpole and windmill is on your commute so you can see the wind speed and direction at any time.

You know you are ecomodder when you get flipped off by 90 year old drivers passing you at 35 mph.

I thought of this as I got passed by a Metro today. Rusty and belching black smoke. We were probably getting about the same mpgs. I was getting close to 40 on that piece of road. Average 34.0 by the time I pulled in the driveway.

You might be an ecomodder if when evacuating from a hurricane you curse traffic jams not because your ready to arrive, but because they are ruining your milage.

well; to tell the truth I'm sittingn on a screen patio overlooking a forest on one side and a pond on the other. The only issue here is no cable. Tv no Internet and only 1 bar of edge on the iPhone. Bad news is I saw my road on the news, and the eye is still projected to pass over my house. Oh well whatever breaks needed to be ecomodded anyway.

I hope all goes well for everyone involved there. I hate to see another Katrina happen. That was terrible to see, at least you have a good attitude. I will say some prayers for everyone down there.

Or you wait until after the hurricane to evacuate so you don't have to deal with the traffic jams and bad FE.
When you take your scan gauge with you to test drive new cars, so you know which one to buy.
