Move the slider towards 35 mpg and watch the fleet disappear!

What's worse is that the trucks from F250 and up don't come back until you go all the way down to 5 mpg. I mean I knew they were bad but I thought they got at least 10mpg, I guess not. Now imagine what people are really getting in those things, because we all know that not everyone out there drives as the EPA conducts tests. Then factor in the towing in addition to the erratic driving and we have sub 5 mpg trucks.

Wow!

Almost the entire Ford lineup is trucks!!!

The escape hybrid got the second-best fuel economy on there. It is also listed as "not recommended" for towing

Smile Don'tchoo Buy no Ugly Truck

But if you want medium towing and reasonable (foratruck) economy.
The Ranger-
25 MPG
6,000 lbs towing
$14,220
and with the right AeroCap on the back,(who is making those btw?)
maybe break into the 30's on the highway. When not towing.
Just a thought.

I bought an old manual tranny Chevy S10 a while ago. The idea for that is that I could get reasonable fuel economy and do some basic towing when I need to. I am planning on a DIY AeroCap eventually.
