Your Record tank for 9th gen Accord (non Hybrid FTW)

2013 - 2.4L-EX-CVT-NON Hybrid-sedan w/deck lid spoiler
*Only Shell gas
*MobilOne 0w20 Adavnced Fuel Eco Full Syn
*51 PSI all around
*Bone Stock

New to this site & am dying to know if someone's done 1,000 mile tank on a 9th gen NON Hyrbid 2.4L Accord! I know it's possible!

My personal bests to date (not necessarily the same tank):

964.6 miles (47.5 tank avg)
47.5 mpg tank avg (above tank)
20.611 gallons pumped (different tank)
57.5 miles run past 0 range (one stop and start past 0 range)

All the #'s are based on 75/25 highway/city and are with either vent or no vent (no AC or fan).

From what I found in the Garage, there is no one else close to you except for a hybrid. Congrats, you are in a league of your own! You don't have much work to do before reaching the 1000 mile mark

Also, welcome to Ecomodder!

You should create a Garage entry for your ride. You are doing very well

Honda lists the fuel tank capacity of a 2013 Accord at 17.2 gallons. How are you getting more than 20 in? Is there that much unused capacity in the tank and filler neck?

Welcome aboard!

After the first click at the pump I can easily get 3.3gallons+ in the tank. Haven't done my fuel log yet, but when I do I'll post how far I go past 0 on the range. I've run the car out of gas accidentally once and unfortunately have lost that fuel log data when getting a new phone. I did come across my 20.611g run off tank on the DriveAccord site.

The numbers are based on tip topping it off, as in, the car won't take any more gas topping it off. It's also based on running it past 0 on range.

It's safe to assume that there is more than one usable gallon of gas left after hitting 0 in the 9th gen Accords, probably more like 1.5gallons.
